It's impossible to list the price for each & every serving piece I
make. They need to be seen in person in the Gallery.
To create these unusual pieces I start with a sheet of clear textured glass. I cut the shape, grind the edges and place the prepared glass over a clay mold and slump it in the kiln to about 1400 degrees. After the glass cools I paint a metalic wash on the backside and wipe off the excess. Then I paint layers of color and finally a sealer to protect the paint. The end result is that from the front side you are looking through clear glass to see the pattern and colors. This makes the piece food safe. These pieces must be hand washed and not placed in a mircowave or oven. They are both functional and decorative.
